Can not see icons and widgets (Galaxy Tab P1000)

Dear readers,

My friend had a problem with her samsung galaxy tab P1000. She used to had the problem every time she turned on the tab, the tab could not show the icons, widgets and everything... just black wall paper. However, the tool bar on the top where there is time indicator was OK.
So I decided to roll back the OS and back to factory settings. By doing factory reset, you will LOOSE ALL THE APPLICATIONS that you have installed. BUT NOT THE STORAGE (internal/external drive)
Here the steps that I did:

1. switch off the tab.
2. press the "power" button and "volume up" button which are located on the right side of the tab at the same time.

3. Soon as the logo shows up, released ONLY the "power" button and keep pressing the "volume up" button.
4. You will see there are 4 menus, and then you may release the "volume up" button. By using the volume button (up/down),  we need to choose "wipe all/factory reset"  and press the "home" button to have back the factory settings.

5. After that you will see the adroid logo, then you need to press again the "home" button to confirm the factory reset.

6. Wait until you see logo and etc. You will be ask to do some setup like the very first time you switch on the tab.
7. you are now have the factory setting ;)

Good luck
